To deliver solid the X1 TV experience to customers, video devices (Xi5, XG1V4 and Xi6) & voice remote (XR15) were designed together at the same period. By slightly remodifying “plus minus” language, these devices are slim and is defined by a reveal that runs along the bottom edge and around the triangular corners. The plan view of XG1V4 is characterized by a dissolving triangular hex pattern,within which are cooling vents. This pattern is repeated across the XFINITY hardware product line for visual consistency and unity.
